Our zinc-clad house refurbishment project in Lewes is now complete. The design uses a special technique where the zinc is laid as individual shingles to create a tiled effect. The zinc is contrasted with treated cedar cladding. The project also includes a substantial side and rear extension, complete renovation of the interior including a new double-height atrium space, new landscaping and a garden studio.

Our modern garden studio near Lewes has received planning permission. Designed as a simple, shed-like form clad in black corrugated sheeting, it is designed to contrast with the adjacent main dwelling while sitting comfortably in its semi-rural setting. March 2013

We did a revisit to one of our projects that was completed in 2009 - a modern glazed extension in the Wallands area of Lewes. It was fascinating to hear that even though it is fully glazed on three sides, the high-performance windows and the highly insulated roof and floor mean that the owners actually rarely use the underfloor heating.
